Community

Community is something special at Philosophy Day School. Not only is there a hand-selected and professional faculty and staff at the school, but there are many volunteers who participate in maintaining the school and assisting the teachers with the children. In particular the parents play a most important role. The donation of their time and resources goes a long way in allowing Philosophy Day School to present a wide variety of special events and presentations. They play an integral part in showing and explaining the many diverse cultures and religions of PDS families.

Philosophy Day School also believes it is important to share its knowledge and resources with the larger community. Lectures on parenting, reading, mathematics and other events open to the public are presented from time to time.
